She's a 10!!

I had no idea what this means but Kitty says its a good thing. Our pediatrician says the baby got a "10" on her APGAR score. She said the nurse who did the test hasn't given a 10 to a baby in 10 years. How about that? already overachieving at 5 hours old!

Baby D took in her first Red Sox post season game tonight too. She was in my arms when Kevin Youkilis and later David Ortiz hit homers at Fenway - by the way, what about "fenway" as a middle name?

Kitty is over the moon. baby is eating like a champ - just like her sisters before her.

Our guardian angel Lynn arrived this afternoon. Many thanks to her for dropping everything and coming out a few days early. Getting that call at 4 AM MT wasnt too much fun I suspect. But with her here it seems more manageable.

Kudos to David of Meridith and David for coming over at 6 AM to sit the girls until Desiree arrived. What a good man and a great friend. We are lucky to have such folks in our lives.

Mary and Nora came to visit earlier. They were dressed in matching dresses and ribbons. So cute. Nora suggests "mermadia" as a name and Mary is quietly lobbying for "Chloe."

At this point we have no idea what to do about a name. Stay tuned.

Also visiting tonight, Suzy, Nate and 4 DAY old Amelia. What a treat. Poor Wilson is alone facing five girls at future family events.

More tomorrow...
